Transfer Bridge
Program dates for 2024 are August 30 - September 14.
What is Transfer Bridge?
The Transfer Bridge Program is an extended orientation program for students who are selected for AvenueE and submit the UC Davis Statement of Intent to Register by June 1st. This is a no-cost program; all materials are all provided to you.
Note: The Transfer Bridge Program will not replace UC Davis orientation.
Goals of Transfer Bridge
- Become part of the UC Davis community
- Build lasting relationships with your fellow AvenueE cohort members
- Receive academic guidance and professional development
- Expand your network by interacting with faculty, advisors, staff, other students, and working professionals
- Commit and dedicate your time to Transfer Bridge by earning a stipend.
Transfer Bridge 2024
Date: August 30 - September 14
- We will meet daily on weekdays during business hours.
- Evening activities planned most nights.
Sample Activities
- Engaging campus tours and Engineering/Computer Science lab tours
- Group discussions with current UC Davis students
- Professional development workshops (resume, networking, etc.)
- Engage with industry professionals
- Learn more about various campus resources
- Solve current engineering challenges with the guidance of UC Davis faculty
- Become familiar with campus and build community with other transfer students
- Participate in social events like game night, movie night, trivia, and more!
